ICAN researchers and partners are working to better understand SI's empowering potential and how to best implement it to ensure those who face the most barriers to contraceptive agency can benefit. In Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Uganda, we have built a portfolio of complementary and rigorous research methods to identify different ways to support women’s pregnancy prevention desires, including SI use.
