The ICAN project focuses on women’s contraceptive experiences in four countries—Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Uganda—which represent different reproductive health contexts. Each country team will leverage particular context-specific program implementation features to study self-injection (SI). In line with our commitment to ensuring that under-represented groups’ needs are centered in contraceptive programming, our research prioritizes the inclusion of adolescents and other vulnerable populations where appropriate.
