As part of ICAN, we developed two new measures to advance person-centered and rights-based measurement in the contraception field: the Contraception-focused Preference-aligned Fertility Management (PFM) Index and the Agency in Contraceptive Decisions Scale. We also developed the Self-injection Self-efficacy Scale and the Self-injection Social Norms Scale to advance research evaluating self-injectable contraception programming.
